Kids in Grades K – 7 can drop by participating branches anytime to write and illustrate their own book and we’ll make it available for other kids to read in the library!  

We welcome groups from schools, child care centres, and other children’s programs in Vancouver to visit our libraries.

Through the storyteller in residence, VPL seeks to honour Indigenous cultures and to promote intercultural understanding and communication between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
