Why does the temporary digital card only last 60 days?

An online for a temporary digital card is intended to provide Vancouver residents with temporary access to thousands of digital items from home. Because access to these electronic resources is governed by license agreements that can vary depending on your city of residence, it is necessary to validate your account with ID and proof of address in person at a VPL branch.
