New Location for Downtown Eastside-Strathcona Branch

The City of Vancouver has purchased a new site for the future Downtown Eastside-Strathcona Library Branch.

VPL Extends Borrowing Periods During the 2010 Winter Games

Loan periods will be extended for borrowed items due between February 12 and 28, including regular items, Fast Reads and Quick Views.

Central Library Book Drop To Close

The Central Library Book Drop on Hamilton St. will be closed from February 8 to March 2. We also ask that donations be dropped off in March not February.
