CollectionAbout the photographs
There are more than three thousand images in the entire Philip Timms Photograph Collection, fifteen hundred of which have been digitized through funding from Industry Canada's Digital Collections Program. Images in the collection exist in a variety of formats, including: glass plate negative, film based negative, lantern slide, and display print. Subjects include: children, the city's first car, streetscapes, houses, ships, ferries, CPR land sales, hobble skirts, parks, and local industry.
