Let the unique architecture of the Vancouver Public Library's Central Branch add a touch of grandeur to your special event. The Promenade offers more than 7,300 square feet of event space housed in a seven-storey atrium under a magnificent glass roof. Over the years, this space has been used for many fabulous weddings and impressive gala affairs. The Library Square Conference Centre will help transform this popular public space for your special private event.
Special Events in the Promenade
The Promenade is a spectacular space that can accommodate up to 400 guests seated banquet style or up to 700 guests in a more open reception-style event. These grand events can be booked in the Promenade for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings after the library is closed. For more information, see the Promenade Package.
Special Events in the Alice MacKay Room
The Alice MacKay Room is ideal for weddings and banquets suited to one large room. Up to 200 guests can be seated in the room with ample space left for the bar, buffet and coat check. More modest celebrations, for 50 guests or more, will find the room very comfortable for their intimate affair and a hardwood dance floor at the ready.
