Filming at the Library
Vancouver Public Library welcomes filming at the Central Branch as well as the 20 branches in the VPL system. One of Vancouver's most recognizable architectural landmarks, the Central Branch has been featured in a number of movies and TV series for its unique look. It is also a popular location for TV commercials, magazine shoots and other film and photography campaigns.
Filming on exterior spaces is possible during the day but shooting inside the libraries can only be done when they are closed.
A VPL film liaison must accompany a film scout or crew at all times while they are on site. For rates, availability and other enquiries, please contact the Library Square Conference Centre office at 604-331-3823.
