Location
Library Square is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, with underground parking and easy access to transit: See Central Library for details regarding location, parking, public transit options, and opening hours.
Room Access
Meeting room renters will gain access to the room by contacting Security upon arrival. On the Lower Level, use the intercom at the bottom of the stairs to contact Security; on Level 7, use the courtesy phone on the side table. Please inform Security when your event is over so they can lock the room.
For your convenience, information summarizing access to the Lower Level rooms (Alice MacKay, Alma VanDusen and Peter Kaye) and access to the Level 7 rooms (Morris J. Wosk Boardroom and Board Breakout Room) is available for download as a PDF document.
Washrooms
There are public washrooms on the Lower Level for the users of the Lower Level meeting rooms and the Promenade.
The Level 7 boardrooms each have a dedicated washroom. The key is located inside the meeting room.
Loading In and Out
No onsite storage is available for events at the Conference Centre and no materials may be delivered in advance. All materials must be removed when the event is over.
Loading Materials to the Lower Level
The most direct route is to load materials from the underground parkade using the "Library and Hamilton Street" elevators to transport them to the Lower Level (LL).
For materials that will be dropped off, the Conference Centre Loading Bay (maximum overhead clearance is 10 feet) can be used for loading to the Lower Level rooms and to the central elevators servicing the Promenade.
Prior arrangement must be made with Library Square Conference Centre staff for access to the Conference Centre loading bay.
To access the loading area, turn immediately to the right at the entrance to the parking lot, next to the large trash containers. Contact Security using the callbox on the wall beside the door. After you have completed loading, you must remove your vehicle.
Please note: There is NO access for clients at the VPL Loading Bay.
Loading Materials to Level 7
When bringing materials to rooms on Level 7, please load in from the staff entrance at 360 West Georgia Street and contact Security via the intercom for access.
