Combined Alma VanDusen and Peter Kaye Room

Our two smaller rooms on the Lower Level, Alma VanDusen and Peter Kaye, can be combined to form a medium size conference space. The additional floor space is ideal for banquet-style gatherings for up to 100 people or small trade fairs.

For room access information, see Facilities and Building Services.

These rooms may be rented separately. (See Alma VanDusen Room or Peter Kaye Room).

Need a larger reception space for your event? Add the Moat to your room rental for extra reception space outside the meeting room.

Alma, with her husband Whitford J. VanDusen, established several Vancouver Foundation funds. In 1970, they anonymously donated $1 million toward the purchase of 52 acres to create a garden for the city of Vancouver.

The Vancouver Foundation named Gilbert Peter Kaye their first Honourary Chairman in 1987 to recognize his 27 years of distinguished service to the organization. Prior to his death, Peter made provisions for the establishment of an endowment fund.
