Printed Magazine Indexes - Selected List

Introduction

Magazine indexes help you find magazine articles on any subject. Some indexes cover all subjects, while others focus on one area, like education or music.
This is by no means a complete list of indexes in print format! There are many more specialized indexes available.
Most magazine indexes are now in electronic form – go to the library homepage at www.vpl.ca and, underneath the heading “Find Books, DVD’s & More…” click on “Newspapers, Articles, Encyclopedias & More.”
Printed indexes are especially useful for older articles, since most electronic indexes began their coverage in the late 1980s.
