Janet Love Morrison travelled extensively across Canada, Europe and South America to research The Crazy Canucks: Canada's Legendary Ski Team. She interviewed over seventy people: competitors such as the legendary Franz Klammer, coaches, family members, journalists, trainers and many others. In 1997 she worked with Summerhill Productions on the CBC's Life and Times: These Crazy Canucks. Janet Love Morrison lives in North Vancouver, British Columbia, where she continues to write and work with the Friends to Mankind, an international foundation that works with individuals and organizations towards the betterment of all humanity.

  

  

  


About Linda Bailey

Multiple award-winning author Linda Bailey has written more than 20 books for children. Born in Winnipeg, she travelled around the world in her 20s and then moved to Vancouver, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Education at the University of British Columbia. She has two grown daughters, a golden retriever and a cat and lives in Vancouver. Now, many of her books have travelled around the world – just like Linda did.

  

  

  

  

About Bill Slavin

Award-winning artist Bill Slavin illustrated his first book, The Adventures of Zok the Caveman, at age seven. It was published in an edition of one. Since then he has illustrated over sixty children's books. In 1995, he wrote and illustrated The Stone Lion.
