Sophie's efforts to break the curse bring her to Howl's magical moving castle, where she befriends Markl, Howl's apprentice, and the hot-headed fire demon Calcifer. Kiki's Delivery Service

Harvey Southam Room, Lower Level
The Central Library, 350 W. Georgia St.
In Hayao Miyazaki's magical Kiki's Delivery Service, a young witch on her mandatory year of independent life finds fitting into a new community difficult while she supports herself by running an air courier service. With her trusty cat Jiji by her side she's ready to take on the world, or at least the quaintly European seaside village she's chosen as her new home. |
