(Vancouver, British Columbia) – Three amazing iconic novels, infinite event possibilities, and one vote...YOURS!  It’s your choice, Vancouver. From June 3 to 24, vote for the next One Book, One Vancouver winner. Choose the book and the events you would like to experience this fall.

Cast your vote for one of the following three options:

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie, 2007.
Event ideas include: Basketball, Comic Book & Zine Workshops, Aboriginal Cultural Programs and Exploring Racism & Bullying

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, 1892.
Event ideas include: Murder Mystery Nights, Modern Detectives & the History of Forensics and Vancouver Mystery Tours

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, 1979.
Event ideas include: Exploring Space, Science & the Meaning of Life, Travel Guides & Planning Your Next Trip and SciFi Film Festival

Vote online at vpl.ca or complete a ballot at any VPL location. One ballot per person, please.

If you cast your vote between June 3 and June 24, you could win a Library Lover’s Prize Pack. The winning novel will be announced at the Word on the Street Festival, September 26. In October and November, programs and events to bring the winning title alive for readers will take place at the Central Library and Branches across the city.
