VPL Extends Borrowing Periods During the 2010 Winter Games
Vancouver Public Library recognizes that during February's 2010 Winter Games, our users may face challenges returning materials. For that reason, we have extended loan periods for borrowed items due between February 12 and 28, including regular items, FastReads, and Quick Views:
- 21 day loans and renewals are extended to 28 days;
- 7 day loans are extended to 14 days;
- 3 day loans are extended to 7 days;
- 7 day hold period is extended to 10 days.
Please Note
The Central Library book drop on Hamilton Street will be closed from February 8 to March 2. Travelling downtown by personal vehicle during Games’ time will be difficult and the City is asking residents to restrict vehicle travel as much as possible.
