Central Library Book Drop to Close in February
& Request to Hold Donations
(Vancouver, B.C.) – The Central Library book drop, located on the Hamilton Street side of the building, will be closed from February 8 to March 2. Library users may return books, CDs, DVDs or magazines to the book drop located on the main floor of the Central Library during open hours (Monday to Thursday - 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday & Saturday - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 5 p.m.) or to any of the neighbourhood branches located across the city.
People wishing to donate materials to the Library (books, CDs, DVDs or magazines) are asked not to bring them to any of the Library’s 21 branches, including the Central Library, in February as shipping and delivery services will be curtailed during the 2010 Winter Games period. Library staff will be in a position to again accept donations in March.
