Teen Collection
The Teen Collection houses teen recreational reading materials. It includes a large collection of hardcover novels and paperbacks, lots of teen magazines, and a growing collection of DVDs, music, audiobooks, videogames, ebooks and downloadable audiobooks.
The non-fiction collection has been chosen to meet the personal interests rather than school assignment needs of teens. Books on subjects as diverse as animation, fashion and sports can be found here. Information on most high school assignments is found in the other subject divisions.
The collection's strength is popular teen materials selected with assistance from the Teen Advisory Group (TAG).
A small collection of teen French non-fiction, fiction, audio-visual materials, and magazines are shelved with the Teen collection.
A good collection of materials about youth literature, teen reading interests and library service to youth is found in the Children's Library's Resource Collection.
