ESL Collection
The Vancouver Public Library has a large English as a Second Language (ESL) Collection that includes books, compact discs, computer software, videos, and DVDs. These materials are available both at the Central Library in the Literature & Social Science Department on Level 3, and at other branches. Some of the areas covered by this collection include: grammar, conversation, idioms, listening, reading, vocabulary, and language test preparation (e.g. TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, etc.) There are also ESL Book Club Sets which can be used for book discussion groups with ESL students.
