BC Artists Files
The Fine Arts & Music Division maintains documentation files on Canadian visual artists. These files contain news articles, gallery mailings, and miscellaneous pamphlet material.
Legal Collection
The Renfrew, Kitsilano and Oakridge Branches have specialized Legal Resource Collections. Resources include texts on family and criminal law, law dictionaries, self-help guides, small claims court procedures, landlord and tenant, wills and probate, divorce, immigration, business incorporation, and other topics intended for the layperson.
Multilingual Collection
Multilingual Collections in the Vancouver Public Library include recreational reading material for adults and children in a wide range of languages other than English represented within the City of Vancouver. Decisions around which languages to collect are made based on Census profiles, community input and a variety of other considerations.
Technical Services
All new items to the VPL collection first pass through the Technical Services division.
