Searchable version of the printed index Art Index (the forerunner of Art Full Text), this database indexes articles, interviews and reviews published 1929-1984 on topics such as advertising art, antiques, archaeology and architecture to decorative arts, interior design, photography, textiles, visual art and artists. Great place to start searching for early & mid 20th century artists such as Emily Carr, members of the Group of Seven, Salvador Dali and other masters, plus those who are less well-known.

Medline is the U.S. National Library of Medicine's index to more than 4,300 biomedical journals published in the United States and 70 other countries covering the areas of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences. Medline contains over 12 million citations dating back to the mid-1960's. Coverage is worldwide, but most records are from English-language sources or have English abstracts.

A searchable online index of the headings found on individual folders of clippings in our Newspaper Clippings Collection. The focus of the collection is on local and British Columbia issues. The majority of files start in the 1960's with articles taken from the Vancouver Sun and Province and various local community newspapers. It also searches the headings from the Pacific Press Clippings Collection microfiche. Both the clipping files and the Pacific Press microfiche are available on level 5 of the central library
