Join Us In The Free-for-all!

I have six honest serving men
They taught me all I knew
I call them What and Where and When
And How and Why and Who.
-Rudyard Kipling

Just like Rudyard Kipling, the Vancouver Public Library has lots of questions and we hope Vancouver residents will provide many answers, ideas and suggestions.

Perhaps you have joined us in our Free-for-all adventure and if not, we hope you will now.

Free-for-all is a year-long adventure to gather community input about the future of your Library. The third topic is Programming & Training, which includes performances, author readings and classes such as Computer Basics, Genealogy, Job Search and Small Business Tours available at Vancouver Public Library.

We want to know the type of programs and training classes you might need and desire. Dream big! Please take this quick exercise and your answers will help us shape the future of the Vancouver Public Library.

So far, Free-for-all has focused on Learning Spaces & Public Places and Books, Movies, Music & More! In May & June, we hope you will participate in the final Free-for-all adventure that will explore Services for Families & Youth. Watch for details and contest information at www.vpl.ca/freeforall.
