Acclaimed writer, poet and historian Wayde Compton, who has turned spinning a turntable into sound poetry art, is the Vancouver Public Library's seventh Writer in Residence.

This annual celebration of everything literary brings visitors face to face with members of Canada's vibrant writing and publishing community including illustrators, graphic novelists and spoken-word artists.
