- Adult and children's fiction and non-fiction books and audiovisual materials: 70,000 volumes
- Books in Chinese, Vietnamese, and Spanish.
- English as a Second Language (ESL) books, videos and audio cassettes. See the Vancouver Public Library ESL Resources page.
- The Native Resources Collection includes materials related to native peoples, especially of the North West Coast
- The Grandview-Woodland Collection includes materials related to the history and development of the area including the Britannia Site
- Adult Basic Education books, audio cassettes and videos on the subjects of reading, writing, mathematics and life skills
