Support the Library
For over 100 years Vancouver Public Library has played a key role in our community. As the busiest library in British Columbia, we're not only a cornerstone for Vancouver's neighbourhoods – we connect people to each other and a world of information and literacy.
You can support your library and help us to promote literacy, a love of reading, and the exploration of ideas, culture and knowledge by making a donation or volunteering your time with us today.
The Virtual Donor Wall acknowledges the generous donations made to Vancouver Public Library each year.
Donating and Volunteering
Tax deductible gifts can be made to the following organizations dedicated to helping to enhance library programs, collections and services. And, if you have time to give to the Library, there are many opportunities to get involved.
The Vancouver Public Library Foundation is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for Vancouver Public Library and its programs and services. For more information on making a donation or planned gift to the library, contact the VPL Foundation today.
The Friends of Vancouver Public Library is a non-profit volunteer organization founded in 1995 to support Vancouver Public Library. Membership is open to everyone and volunteer participation is welcomed. For more information on volunteering or making a donation, contact the Friends of VPL today.
You can also donate books and other materials such as DVDs, CDs, and CD-ROMs directly to the library. See Donating Materials to the Vancouver Public Library or call 604-331-4094 for more information.
See our Sponsorship Policy for more details on how to become a corporate sponsor.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
